The Pulse Group presently serves as the retail consultant to Stanford Dining, as well as Stanford Hospitality & Auxiliaries and has successfully completed a broad range of development and operational consulting assignments on the Stanford campus, including the development (5) retail concepts and a strategic plan for Stanford retail and catering operations. Several of the retail concepts including Olives and Arrillaga Commons are winners of NACUFS and Food Management national awards. As part of our role we have conducted focus group and survey research with all segments of the campus community, developed and reinforced self-branded retail concepts, created advertising and public relation materials, participated in menu development initiatives, acted as an owners representative in the design/construction of retail units, provided operational consulting to grow retail and catering revenues and acted as an advisor in the planning and structuring of new retail venues. At the present time we are involved in the development, construction and marketing of a late night program within Arrillaga Commons and in the redevelopment planning of the former Graduate School of Business as a high-tech library with retail, hospitality and catering elements.
