About This Project

The Pulse Group was retained by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife in cooperation with Travel Oregon to conduct usability studies with both internal and external users with the goal of improving the site’s overall design, navigation, content and analytics. Key project objectives are to develop a navigation and a “first impressions are lasting” design (e.g. intuitive, eye-catching, user-driven engaging content and navigation); create a logical/intuitive directory structure (e.g. site map/content organization); identify a clean content management structure (management-friendly, useful for updating, dashboards/reports which can be quickly/easily acted upon, and be able to effectively measure impact of management and marketing efforts); and, test new features (streaming video, mp3 and iPod apps downloads) design/graphics or links that would enhance use, speed and satisfaction.
