Pulse Group professionals were retained by AWWA to assist them in assessing the attitudes and usage of their Web site among members. Specifically, the study was conducted among non-users, infrequent and frequent Web site users. Two different data collection methods were used to obtain feedback including telephone and online. Telephone interviews were conducted to obtain feedback among non- and infrequent-users and an online survey was used to capture input from frequent users. The information collected is being used to develop a more effective e-commerce site as well as position AWWA.org as the premier water resource(s) WEB site.
